BxBramLCD is another microprocessor controller used to control entrance gate equipped with LCD display. The controller communicates with PC computer by industrial RS485 interface which guarantees reliability of transmission in difficult industrial conditions. The transmission protocol is adapted to operate with BxESOK application which is used to calculate time of staying in venue. BxESOK program supervises the reader’s work by sending orders such as: asking about device’s status, card number, blockade release, alarm or sends information which is displayed on LCD screen. BxESOK operates transponders cards or Unigue key rings compatible with EM-4102 system.On the front of the case there is LCD screen, reading unit for RFID identifier and buzzer emitting sound signal. BxBramLCD device is based on ATMega8 microcontroller and on specialized chip of RFID reader U2270. The task of the microcontroller is servicing communication protocol with PC and decoding by the card number which is sent by Manchester code. The controller has one output and input. The input is used as a confirmation signal of turning the wheel. This confirmation can be configured in four ways- increasing slope, decreasing slope, low status and high status. The output is used as a blockade (electromagnet) release. Non-powered output is of high impedance and powered is mass potential. Many controllers can work simultaneously on the one of the communication buses. Each of the controllers has its unique address which is stored in non-transitory EEPROM memory of the microcontroller. Special dedicated software is used to configure and test the controller. The software allows to program basic parameters such as: device address, alarm time, time for blockage release, time-out time, time for device response or displaying testing information on the LCD. The case 144x198x53mm is made of plastic and protected with plexiglas from the front. The device is produced exclusively for BX System locating in Rzeszow.
